I love to hear people’s stories. I know that everyone has something unique and interesting in their story to tell, and I find it fascinating to hear all the amazing twists and turns that makes each person’s life pretty incredible. That was an unexpected bonus for me for doing the giveaway. I stopped by many blogs and read a few stories about who people are and the interesting things they do. Saw some beautiful quilts, too! These were just a few of the fun blogs that I discovered from the people who commented, but look through the comments and you’ll find a bunch more!

I’m going to be sharing some of my stories here and there sprinkled in with the sewing and fabric stuff, so that you can get a glimpse of who I am and where I’ve been. I hope you will find that interesting.
Onto the winner!
I’ve read on many blogs that WordPress doesn’t number posts, and it’s kind of a pain for giveaways! I went to the recycle bin and got some paper. Ripped it into small pieces, and wrote down each entry on a piece and put them in a bowl. I took the bowl of entries to my oldest son who picked one out. He picked one out and the winner is Erin Hutchinson who said,
“Oh, yes, I’m so glad to get my entry in under the wire. Lovely giveaway! I am a 38 year old (for the next four weeks, anyway) mother of two rambunctious boys and wife to a college basketball coach. I work in college admissions, and I love my job, but I would gladly give it up and spend more time quilting if I could. I have lived all over the US, but I’m a country girl at heart, and I love living in rural Western Virginia with mountain views, peaceful evenings and fresh air.”
Congratulations Erin! I’m sure she will love the fabric–how could she not?
How about you? Have you run across any great blogs lately that you want to share? Or have you won any great prizes lately? I won a book recently, and I will be sharing a review of it soon!
