Today is the day that the Fall into Fall Quilt Blogger’s Giveaway starts! Have you heard about it? There are a ton–8 businesses and 143 personal blogs!–to visit, and each will have a giveaway. It’s going to be lots of fun, I’m sure. There’s a list of participating blogs–a click on Mr Scarecrow will take you there.
By the way–I’m sorry that I’m a bit late…this morning I found out that there was no school when I tried to take my son to school. Messed up my entire day! Anyway…onto the goods!
I know this is supposed to be all about Fall, but let’s face it–now’s the time to get going on your holiday sewing. So I’ve got a fat quarter bundle of some great Robert Kaufman winter holiday prints.
I’ll include some solids or semi-solids in the bunch, too, although I didn’t put any of them in the picture. So you’ll have a good start on your way to putting together a winter lap quilt to keep you (or someone you love) warm!
The idea of this is for everyone to have a fun way to find more great blogs to follow! Enjoy & good luck!
Details
To enter my giveaway, post one comment letting me know what you enjoy reading on quilting blogs. Is it tutorials? Personal anecdotes and stories about quilting? Seeing finished quilts? Quilt alongs? What you you like best?
Post your comments by midnight on October 14th on my blog, and the winner will be announced on October 15th.
*Feel free to enter if you’re from the US, Canada, UK or Australia.

I love, love, love those fabrics! On quilty blogs, I enjoy seeing other people’s quilts and also hearing the stories behind the quilt. Tutorials are interesting, also.
Thank you for offering this give-away!
It will be winter before we know it. Those Kaufman fabrics are cute! I enjoy seeing and reading about the various projects on all the blogs. I love to see how a pattern can look completely different just by the line of fabrics used.
Ooh. PRetty.
I like seeing quilts other people have made, together with a description of the process — like, I decided that this looked too contrasty, so I added a narrow border here, and then I wanted it longer, so I decided to put in an asymetrical sashing — etc. I just find it very interesting to see how someone else problem solved, and what the end result was.

I just love Christmas and the fabrics that come with it. I love reading blogs and watching the creative juices come alive in projects that are shared. I especially love it when someone tells how it went together.
I’m pretty new to quilting, so I enjoy the tutorials the most! Most everything I’ve learned about quilting has been through blogs (gotta love blogs!!!).
Thanks!
i love tutorials — and knowing that there are other REAL people who make REAL mistakes like the ones i do!
I love looking at the beautiful fabrics and seeing what others are making. I’m new to quilting, too! Handy tips are always welcome, and looking at cool tools. Also would like to do some machine quilting in the future and have a feeling my 20 year old machine might not handle this well, so would like to upgrade at some point, and would love to know what to look for in a machine.
I love tutorials and seeing finished quilts the most! It’s great to learn new things and to see what everyone else is quilting.
Those are very pretty fabrics! I love to see finished quilts on blogs, along with instructions for the quilt and maybe a tutorial!
Love Xmas and those fabrics are awesome!

Hello!
Thanks for this nice giveaway.
What I like from quilter blogs is to see their projects and get inspired by them. I’m not an experienced quilter and I’m always looking for tips and advise. I have learnt so much from experienced quilters, little things that I had no idea about and makes quilting so much easier. That’s what I like!
i love reading other ppl’s crafty projects, i love pictures and tutorials.
thanks for the awesome giveaway!

Cool giveaway,

I like seeing the finished products of so many creative quilters! It is always so inspiring!
I love seeing what other quilters are working on. It inspires me to try new things, or just get back into my sewing room and finish something. Tutorials of projects I particularly love are a bonus. Thanks for a chance to win!
It’s hard to narrow down to just one thing I like about reading blogs. I always enjoy seeing what others are creating, it’s quite inspirational. Plus I like the sew alongs, tutorials, recipes, and seeing what’s going on with everybody. See, I told you I couldn’t select just one thing!
I love the tutorials and the finished quilts. I make rag quilts so these fabrics would be perfect. Thanks
I’m a blog reader; I love seeing finished products; how different people put together combinations of color. I llike to try tried and true recipes that are shared. Tutes come in handy when it’s a technique I’m not familiar with. Love to see smaller projects that go together quickly for gifts…

Its always so inspiring to see what others have created, there mix patterns and colours. Its like going to show and tells.
I really enjoy the tutorials but also the finished pics…such inspiration. Thanks for the chance to win your giveaway.

Being a quilter, we’re obviously very visual people. So for me, I like the pictures best. I love to see how different people interpret and use color.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Wow, that is great fabric … I would love to win. What I like about quilting blogs is seeing projects that people have made without patterns … individual, unique items!
The reindeer on the red are super! I love Robert Kaufman fabrics. Being new to quilting I especially enjoy the tutorials. I am working on getting brave enough to join a quilt along – I think this would be loads of fun, which improving my skills. Great giveaway! Thanks.
I love seeing in process and finished quilts on blogs because the give me inspiration to start something new! Thanks for participating in the giveaway! Great fabric.
When I first started to read blogs, I looked for tutes, but interestingly enough, my favorite blog has none. It is just the daily life of a quilter who can write very well, and who also does inspiring work which she displays on her blog.
Thanks for offering such a nice prize.
Joan C

PS I hope I can join in from the UK!!
The UK is good! I just added that info to the details.
Fabulous, fabulous fabrics! Wow! What a great giveaway!
I love all the things you mentioned on blogs. There are a couple things I don’t like, and can cause me not to return to a blog. I don’t like MUSIC on blogs! I HATE IT in fact!
and second, I don’t like it when bloggers get depressing. Life is hard, we all have hard times, but for me blogging is a little escape from the rigors of life and I don’t care to read “true confession” or deeply depressing posts.
I like tutorials, but like quilting anecdotes and anything fun the best. I don’t like music on blogs so I just hit the mute button.
Love the Christmas fabric. thanks.
love tutorials with patterns, recipes and quilts
My favorite thing about blogs is that i learn something new every day and get truly inspired.
What do I love about all these blogs. The pictures of finished products. Makes it easier for me to see what it should look like. I love those fabrics you chose.

I like to see what other crafty people are up to with their craft and in general. I like to find patterns and tutorials too.

My favourite thing to read on blogs are tips and tricks for new uses with old things or new ideas with old blocks or crafts. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I enjoy the tutorials for sure but I really enjoy just seeing all the different things people are quilting, the colors and fabrics.
I love the quilt squares on your comments here. How you do those?
I didn’t do the quilting squares on the comments on purpose–Wordpress just did that automatically–maybe because the word quilting is in the tags for my blog. They are cute, aren’t they?
I love tutorials …it makes things so understandable. I also like seeing the different projects people make.
What fun fabric! I like the quilt pictures and also the tutorials.
I love your Christmas fabric gifts….and what I like most about blogging is it is always show and tell….gives inspiration

The fabrics are great – thank you for the chance to win them! I like browsing blogs to get my creativity going. I will follow blogs that have a mix of tutorials and lots of pictures.
I love seeing easy projects and tutorials. I’m just a novice quilter, but I love seeing what everyone else has done.

I love to read other crafters blogs for inspiration and for the comfort that I am not the only one who has a personal relationship with their seam-ripper! I love tutorials and videos, have learned some great new techniques that way. There’s one video on joining the ends of the bias binding as you sew it on that I review frequently, ha! It works like a charm too. And I love love LOVE looking at photos of the quilt that people have made, photos of the process are fascinating too. A photo series of the fabric and pattern, the cut pieces, the finished blocks, the finished quilt: I’m glued to the photos. The fabrics are absolutely beautiful by the way, thanks for the giveaway!
At blogs I love most of all the sharing of projects other quilters are working on and some tutorials too
Great give away you have! Thank you
Love those fabrics! Thanks for your generosity. While checking out quilting blogs I find myself looking for ideas and they are endless out there in blog land! There are some amazing and talented people who inspire me. micheletimms at gmail dot com
Those fabrics are lovely! I like reading tutorials that are step-by-step with lots of photos.
Oh, what lovely fabrics, I just love them!!!
I really enjoy quilt blogs to get inspiration, to see the finished product and to see the color combination people choose. I also enjoy tutorials to help with my own quilting journey.
Thanks for the chance, it was so nice to meet you.
I enjoy a mix of things. I love, as any other quilter, seeing what other quilters are making! and a good tute is always nice to watch, especially if it is something I need to learn! But I also enjoy the cute quips about peoples children and grandchildren…they make me smile…and also the stories of how everyone got started in quilting! There is nothing that I don’t like about blogging…except those who use their blogs to bash others…I just don’t care for that.
Please sign me up to win these gorgeous fabrics!
Thanks for a super giveaway!
love the fabrices, please throw my name in the hat… As for Quilt blogs, I like seeing their projects, quilts, and their tips and hints and tutorials, I have learned alot just reading blogs. Oh and then there are the ones about products, if they like it, don’t like it, and they introduce new things all the time… but then on my part it is OH I need to try that too… I keep thinking how much my mother would have enjoyed quilt blogs.
I love the eye candy, all the quilts. I also love to hear about reasons the quilt is made and the process involved! Thanks for the chance!
Cute reindeer! I am so looking forward to the coziness of the holidays.
I love to see what other people are working on and get inspiration from other blogs.

I love reading blogs that have quilting and stories about the blogger’s life as it means I can get to know them a bit.
What a great selection of fabrics.. I love them.
I really enjoy turtorials and seeing what everyone is making the best. Thanks for the great giveaway.
I’m having so much fun with this blog hop – who knew there was so much creativity going on in the world! I can’t begin to tell what I like best about reading these blogs – it might be the challenges faced & how they’re overcome (be it life or sewing challenges), the joys (or trials) of children & family, the tutorials (and what NOT to do), or simply pictures and inspirational quotes. Oh, and animal pictures & tales, lots of animal tales. And giveaways are GREAT, especially when they’re as pretty as all these fabrics!! Thanks for sharing with us all!
I love reading about quilting projects and tutorials.
I love the fabrics!! I love following along with the tutorial blogs. There are so many creative people out there and I love seeing new and creative things!
Had a little giggle at the no school thing. I think we have all done that a time or two!
What I like about quilt blogs is first a clean blog, no flashing ads, ads are fine but the dang flashy ones drives me crazy! I like tutorials best since I am still learning.
Fabulous fabric. I love how quilting bloggers are all ages and seeing the commonalities and between some otherwise very diverse individuals in their stories and quilts.
ps. your little one’s hair looks a lot like my little one’s curls. Lovely.
I really enjoy reading about the quilts others are making as well as the things that are happening in their neck of the woods. I like reading about new tools and seeing different fabric lines and books.
Thanks for the opportunity to win such beautiful fabrics- they will make a fabulous quilt project for your winner.
Warmest regards,
Anna

What a fun giveaway…I really need to get into the swing of christmas…..the fabric is just wonderful!
Oh those are hands down the funnest Christmas fabrics I have seen yet!
I literally love everything about quilting blogs… tutorials are nice, I love seeing finished quilts, both are great sources for inspiration, and I also love to read about quilt alongs. I haven’t actually joined one yet, but maybe soon!
Quilting blogs are a lot of fun. Honestly, the simple answer is I love the colors. There is a lot of “fun” that is around to be seen on the quilting blogs. Ultimately, I love seeing the finished products and hearing about any inspiration used to create them. All of that put together inspires me.
Thanks for a great giveaway!! I have to say that when I read blogs I enjoy the stories. There are some stories that are funny and alot that touch you in some way.
To me reading a blog is like having a visit with a new friend who soon becomes an old friend. I like the stories, love the quilts, and watching or reading how to do something I don’t know makes me a better quilter. So I guess my answer is I like everything you listed.
I love seeing finished quilts and tutorials. Being a self taught quilter it is great to see what other quilters do.
Wow what wonderful fabrics!! I hope I am the lucky winner.
kbsteuber at yahoo dot com

Great giveaway! I probably spend way too much time reading quilting blogs and what I enjoy reading changes with my mood and my current project. If I am in between projects I love to look at tutorials and read about new processes. Blogs with humor help me through my day! thanks again!
I love reading some personal stories on blogs. I find blogs are like reality television except with a bit more reality!!
Thanks for the great giveaway!
Cheers!
Rachel

Gorgeous fabrics! I love seeing quilts in progress, then the finished project. Also love reading the stories behind the quilt if there are any. Tutorials are wonderful too. Really, I enjoy reading most anything pertaining to quilting. Have a wonderful day. Winona
What gorgeous fabrics! You’ve got a very generous heart to host such a great giveaway! And that’s my favorite thing about quilting blogs – everyone has such generous hearts. They share tips, instruction, ideas, fabric, and I have made so many new friends, most of whom I may never meet in person…. the reading is just an added benefit!
When I first started blog reading it was great just to see what others were making. I still love to see everyones projects but I find myself more drawn to blogs with tutorials. Motivates me to try new out new styles of quilting. Thanks for having such a wonderful give away, Sharonj.
Those fabrics are gorgeous! Thanks for participating in the give-away.
My favorite thing on quilting blogs is tutorials or tips. I usually say I’m self-taught, but really I’ve learned just about everything I’ve done online, from so many resources. Love inspirational and informative blogs!
I love to see what other people are making, the whole process of it, from fabric selection to the quilting. It gives me lots of inspiration. Tutorials are really good too, I found one that posted a video on how to apply binding by machine a different way than I usually do. (I am horrible about putting off binding).
The thing I like to see most are the finished quilts followed by great tutorials. thanks for the chance:)
My favorite things to see are tutorials. I am new to quilting (haven’t even yet gotten up the gumption to start a big one) so the best thing for me is to learn, learn, learn. Thanks very much!
Lovely fabrics. When i visit blogs i love to see what others are making & maybe the fabrics they’ve used. tutorials are good to read but i guess it’s a way of touching base with other quilters.
I love the fabrics you have chosen for the giveaway, thanks for the chance to win.
I love to read all kinds of things in blogs. tutorials help me learn new things, I enjoy seeing what others make and colors they use, and love reading about their daily lives too
I like a combo of the tutorials (especially if it’s something I always thought was too hard for me or wanted to try) and the stories. I am a mom of two too so it’s fun to seehow others incorperate quilting into their “real” lives too. (I do it while the kids are napping or playing outside or sleeping at night…or watchign movies)
how are you! This was a really fabulous theme!
I come from itlay, I was fortunate to come cross your theme in google
Also I get a lot in your website really thank your very much i will come daily
G’day from Australia. Fab giveaway! I enjoy reading about how other quilting bloggers got started, I’m interested in their lives, where they live- some live in big cities while others are on farms. I also enjoy some of the tutorials. I need all the help I can get-LOL!!!
I like to see finished quilts and tutorials, anything to inspire me and teach me to be a better quilter.
I like to read anecdotes and stories, see pictures of quilts in progress and finished, see a bit of scenery and I love humour. I don’t really like tutorials – I think they should be put in a thing on the sidebar for those who want to read them. But I don’t know how to make those things myself. Yours is a FABULOUS giveaway. Thanks for a chance to win it.
Thanks for a great giveaway and lovely blog.
I enjoy reading the blogs for ideas and inspiration. I am a new quilter so it is very helpful to me to have the tutorials.
Thanks!
I’m a fairly new quilter, so I like tutorials, but like another commented said I like to go straight to them via sidebar or tag if I’m seeking specifics instead of browsing. I also like completed quilts; a quilt show post can keep me busy for a long time! Your giveaway selection is wonderful, I think I’d make a quilt for myself instead of giving it away as I usually do.
I love to see tutorials. I don’t get to make very many of them, however it is always fun to see how something was made. I also enjoy blogs with alot of pictures.
I love to read about work in progress and see how the piece is coming together, then, at the end of all that, I love to see the finished item.
Great fabrics and a wonderful giveaway, thanks for joining us. My favorite thing to read on blogs is the quilts and the story behind them.
These are awesome fabrics!! What I love to see best on blogs are tutorials and lots and lots of finish pictures!
i like to see finished products and a little bit about how you did it, cause I know that tutorials can be a lot of work!

Those fabrics are wonderful!

Those are beautiful fabrics!
I love to read about the design decisions people make – some of the processes and changes they go through as they move from design to completion of a quilt.
OMG that reindeer fabric is a hoot – I must HAVE some, lol – thank you for a sweet giveaway, I’d love to enter!
What I enjoy reading on other people’s blogs, are project or pattern stories – links to great patterns or tutorials, or stories of how a project went for the blogger – what worked for them, what didn’t, what they changed about a pattern, what they would do differently. Photographs, especially, of amazing projects are completely inspiring, and many of the little projects I do have been created from seeing someone else’s project
I love reading about the stories behind the quilts and the challenges and triumphs of the quilting process. And photo tutorials… I love photographs! This fabric is gorgeous, that you for participating in Fall into Fall.
What gorgeous fabric!! Never hurts to get started early. Reading blogs motivates me. I see how much others get done and I push myself a little harder. It is also nice to know that you are not alone in your struggles at learning how to do something new.
I get so inspired by others’ quilts
It motivates me and gets my creative juices going.
I also love to see tutorials. Even if you know how to quilt, there’s been so many useful tutorials on blogs that have shown me a better, or simpler, way to do something.
I really enjoy seeing pictures of quilts, during and when they are finished as so many change from the original design. The fabric is motivating me to get my Christmas gifts started. Thanks for your generosity.
Beautiful, beautiful fabrics! What I love most about blogs is reading personal stories, interspersed with crafty photos, personal photos, recipes, tutorials, etc. I especially like seeing photos of completed holiday quilty & stitchery items, to give me ideas. Thank you for offering such a wonderful “Fall into Fall’ giveaway!
Love those fabrics, thank you for the give away!

Oh, I love it all but mostly, I love the personal anecdotes. What one “learns” through their own efforts.
I love to see what everyone is working on. I am always inspired to work more on my own project. I also like when someone talks about a tool or tip to make quilting easier.
From some blogs I like to see what the blogger has done. I do like tutorials, but find I don’t follow them:) When I visit a cross-stitch blog, I like to see and print a pattern. It it’s a craft blog, I would like to see crafting.
Thank you for the giveaway. The fabric is beautiful, and I love Christmas fabric.
I love to see pictures, recipes, read all the helpful hints, and of course the sharing of free patterns. The inspiration is endless on the blogs, I like the sharing of ideas and I always read the bloggers profile. I would love to win your fabulous fabric giveaway. It would put a smile on my face if it found it’s way to my mailbox.
I love seeing finished quilts and have participated in a few Quilt Alongs over the last 4 years. Just completed the Jelly Roll quilt along and have fabrics all cut for the Pinwheel Quilt Along that is done; but not mine LOL.
Those Christmas fat quarters are lovely!!! What a great prize.
I love seeing the pictures of the quilts. It inspires me.
What do I love to read on blogs well everything you listed and more. It is so much fun to blog along with others on projects helps keep the motivation up. I always want to cheer when I see a completed project and occ I have seen problems answered on blog when someone is stuck. Love it all.

I love to read stories about why a quilt was made, mistakes or successes, stories about people’s lives…
Love those fabrics! Hmm… I like the tutorials, also the photos of fabric and what it was like working with – for example, tips for working with voile since it is kind of new. Also hoping someone talks about how they like the sort of new Quilter’s Linen.
Love those fabrics. Thank you for the chance to win. I love reading blog for the quilt alongs and tutorials. I love being able to work along with others on the same project and helping each other along. I love being able to make things that others have made but they have it all figured out first. And any eye candy, picture of WIP and finished quilts. There is some beautiful work out there.

Quilting blogs are a new hobby for me. They have inspired me in so many ways. I like the variety of things that you listed. Pictures are a must.
I enjoy seeing other peoples creations and then read about how they made them or why they made the quilts. Thanks for the generous giveaway.
Wow Do I ever love the Christmas colours in these fabrics! I love to see things people are working on, how they were done and any tips about “getting done”! I am a thoroughbred procrastinator! I also love small project tutorials because sometimes if it is little…I can stick with it long enough to get done!
Great Christmas fabrics!!! I love tutorials, personal anecdotes and stories about quilting, seeing finished quilts and recipes. Quilters seem to also be fabulous cooks too!!!

My favorite things about blogs are tutorials, seeing finished quilts (this gives me motivation as well as inspiration to think outside the box), and seeing pictures of quilt shows when others go to them and post about them.
I love the various tutorials a lot, but I think seeing other quilter’s finished projects is what I love the most! It’s so inspiring to see what others are making!
I love knowing there are others out there who love fabric as much as I do and are willing to share their ideas and finished projects with everyone. It is such a gift to be able to quilt and to share them.
LOVE the fabric selection in your giveaway! Thanks for a chance to win! As a new quilter I like tutorials, but I also like hearing stories about how the more seasoned quilters still struggle or adapt a plan to make it work…that gives me the confidence that it’s okay to try and maybe fail!
canadiankristin@gmail.com

New to quilting and just started a quilt-along. But I get inspired by seeing what different people do with these exciting fabrics that are out there!
I love to read blogs for the ispiration, but learning about how people fit quilting into their busy lives is fun too.
I’m still trying to figure out how people fit quilting–any so many other fun and really important things–into their lives! I have a hard time finding time for everything that is important to me.
Beautiful fabrics! Thanks for such an amazing giveaway! Okay, so I pretty much like all of the stuff you mentioned about quilting blogs. What a great giveaway!! I enjoy reading and seeing what other quilters are doing. The tutorials are great and just the sheer variety of blogs is overwhelming! Thanks so much for your giveaway.
I pretty much like anything in a quilting blog – tutorials, processes, finished products, shopping trips, how to get your housework and cooking done faster to make more time for quilting… personal ancedotes help to keep it, well, personal.
I LOVE those fabrics. I’m much more of a Christmas girl than a Halloween one so this giveaway is awesome! Thanks
I love those fabric pretty stuff. I like to read about quilting and look at pictures. Tutorials too. Thanks
The best part of quilting blogs is the inspiration provided by the quilts, methods, fabrics and most of all by the amazing bloggers.
I love those fabric pretty stuff. I like to read about quilting and look at pictures. Tutorials too. Thanks My computers being stuped I hope I dont do this twice.
We don’t have bandwidth for a lot of videos and, most times, can’t even download all the photos. I enjoy reading the tips, hints, about people’s lives, their current projects.
Nice fabrics! I like seeing other people’s projects and tutorials. Free quilt patterns are great too.
I enjoy the blogs that have a little bit of everything to offer. It’s like going to coffee with a friend.
I read mostly quilt blogs, and my favorites are the ones that are almost completely focused on quilts…pictures, wips, design process. But then some include the dogs, and I love to read about them too! I generally am not terribly interested in family happenings, but sometimes I just get drawn in to that as well!
I like seeing WIP and love getting ideas about new techniques. I started blogging b/c of a quilt along and it’s fun to see what those blog friends are making now.
Hi
I really like reading tutorials because I am forever trying new things and I need all the help I can get! LOL

I am so excited about your giveaway. Those are beautiful fabrics. My oldest daughter just told me this evening that I should make her a quilt for Christmas. (I have already planned on doing that, so it was nice to know she will really appreciate it.) Thanks for letting me visit.
I enjoy reading tutorials on making blocks and quilts. Some photos showing the process and progress. Discussion of why certain choices were made and lessons learned. And, I like blogs that load quickly without lots of extraneous clutter – and like a blogroll with last entry days and subject. That is how I like to find new blogs on subjects interested in…
Thank you for this lovely prize for the Fall Into Fall giveaway. alternate email mlwright29 (at) hotmail (dot) com
When I read quilting blogs I am looking for 2 things, first how much someone loves the quilting they are doing and the pictures to go along with what they are working on. The second is tutorials. I am so new to quilting, I need so much help learning. So thank you for the opportunity to win this lovely fabric. I look forward to checking out your blog real soon.
Wow! You sure have a ton of comments! What I love about blogs are reading the personal quilting stories, like what I did wrong, why I did this, how I decided this. I also love the quilt alongs too, because you get a lot of the same things I mentioned above. Thanks for the chance, those fabrics are gorgeous!
Loving the fabric! I envision a tumbler quilt from it:) I enjoy reading quilt blogs for any and all content – tutorials are great, other’s quilts, and newsy content about other quilters and family is interesting too

I’m definitely a fan of process & tutorials. I want to find out how things are done!
I’m new to quilting so I read the blogs for inspiration and looking at all the wonderful fabrics!!! Then I dig around for tutorials to figure out the things I have not yet figured out on my own.
I think I like reading a blend of everything you mentioned! Personal anecdotes always add something to the post.
LOVE, LOVE your Christmas fabrics – would be so awesome to win and get sewing!
Love those fabrics! I think that my favorite things to see on quilting blogs is what the blogger is working on and anecdotes of their experiences. Thanks for participating!
What yummy fabrics. I am very new to quilting and love the tutorials and seeing finished quilits let me know that it is possible.
I love seeing pictures of finished projects as well as tutorials. I also love just seeing pictures of fabric.
That is some really great fabric! Great giveaway.
For me, reading blogs is partly about personal life stuff, partly tutorials and projects, and partly finished quilts. I especially love to find out new and better ways to do things and see the thinking that went on before the start of the quilt. I’m not an artist, so I like to see how people pick fabrics that I wouldn’t have considered, and end up with fantastic designs. Thanks for the chance.
Love the colors of these fabrics, Cathy. Not the usual boring holiday colors! Thanks for counting me in. For me the most fun part of reading blogs is seeing the photos of finished and works in progress.
Thanks for the giveaway- I love Christmas fabric!
I have quite a few blogs I follow and there are two things I love about quilting blogs-
1st -the inspiration I feel looking at finishes, and that helps me to keep working on whatever project I’m trying to finish (or maybe the time spent reading hinders finishing something- I’m not so sure sometimes!)
and 2nd, the peek into other people’s lives, and to feel that, no matter where we live in the world, we all share common concerns and enjoy similar things.
I like seeing quilts – in progress (sharing how you’re working on it) and finished. Tutorials are good, too.
Thanks!
Beautiful fabrics! I love to see the finished results of quilts and also enjoy the tutorials. I also like to read about other aspects of people’s lives…getting to know the name behind the blog.
I love tutorials and quilting stories, tips and tricks of the trade! Thanks so much for the giveaway!
I love tutorials – or how someone took a pattern and personalized it. And, I really love seeing the fabrics and projects people make. Table runners, quilts, coasters, etc, it’s very inspirational to see all these gorgeous finished projects!
I’ve learned a lot from reading blogs, and picked up GREAT tips, and found good ways to make blocks – saving fabric, using the remains, etc.
I really enjoy reading about the bloggers and families, their travels and what they are working on. Contests are also a lot of fun.
I love the process of a quilt coming together. Seeing someone take it from a pile of fabric to a completed quilt along with any tips they discovered along the way is great.
I love the gorgeous photography! I try and devote a little care and time into photographing my progress- something a little better than cell phone pics. Your pictures look great!
Thanks for the chance for this giveaway!! YOU ROCK!
I really enjoy tutorials but also like it mixed with personal stories. Seeing fabric combos chosen by others helps broaden how I look at fabric….I become more open and not so quick to dismiss a fabric.
I would love to join your drawing. I like the post of tutorials, then I practice.
Thanks for the opportunity
I love it all – personal stories, pictures, projects, tutorials,… For now, it’s as close to a guild as I can manage. It’s a great way to connect with other quilters/crafters when life doesn’t otherwise allow it.
The fabrics are awesome! What I love most about reading quilty blogs is getting some inspiration from what other quilters are making. Often many quilters are working on similar quilts and the fabric choice or quilting choices make each one unique.

What I love about blogging is seeing what everyone is up to – their WIPs, finished quilts, critiques of products, patterns – the whole kit and caboodle!
I love the tutorials, the finished quilts, and reading about people’s experiences with different projects – I like it when I can learn from or be inspired by the blog I’m reading.
I love reading blogs for hints and helps, patterns, pictures, and recipes. Thanks for having such a great giveaway.
Those fabrics are wonderful, and you’re right it’s not too early to start Christmas gifts. I like it when there is a tutorial of the finished quilt, or references to how it was done, fabric suggestions, changes to the pattern, and any problems encountered.
I love seeing finished quilts, reading tutorials, and seeing lots of yummy fabrics!!
Thanks for a chance to win these beautiful fabrics….. I do love blogging as I have met so many people – I love especially seeing what people make and them sharing how to do it – I feel I am learning new skills as well as making great friends.

One thing that brings me back to a blog is when I can get a sense of “personality” of feeling of knowing the author. It’s a mix of personal anecdotes, stories, tutorials, and pictures.
Beautiful fabric, perfect for a holiday quilt. I enjoy seeing everyones quilts, tutorials and tips, I’m always inspired.
Oops! I’ve just seen its not open to SA. Sorry!

I am entering for my daughter, her computer is down and she called and asked if once again I would enter her in contests, I couldn’t say no as she helps my wife and her mother with their charity quilting projects. I love seeing finished quilts. They inspire me. Thanks!
I am a new beginner quilter. However the ” Love Affair” has begun for sure. I find myself waking in the morning and going in to just feel the fabric. In the middle of the night I wake from dreams with new ideas, designs in my head and feeling drawn to check all my responses to the quilting forums that I have joined. Quilting Tutorials? you simply cannot put a price tag on them. The tricks and tips that I have acquired are simply awesome. Gratitude is one of the words that come to mind when images are shared of finished quilts. Some have a story behind them which I read with great anticipation. Some are just a weekend project that started with frivolous action. All I can say is thank you. May the Best Quilting Bee Win.
These are gorgeous fabrics! What I love about quilting blogs is seeing other people finish their projects – inspires me to finish my own!!
What a great selection of fabrics…thanks for the chance to win!
I look for pictures of finished craft items so I can get ideas for things I want to make (ie, new color combinations I hadn’t thought of or new purse details I want to try). Of course, I also love tutorials!

Here is my comment!
Hmm, I really like seeing tutorials. . .
But I also really like seeing the progression of projects.
But I also like getting ideas from people and seeing all their awesome projects!!
I want to say all of the above. I like to read about the whole process, so that includes how you interact with your family, anecdotes, your work, your creative thoughts. From tutorials to finishes, it’s the process that intrigues me! Blog about the process with others and voila, a quilt along is born!
Thank you for participating in the blog hop. Hope you were able to get hopping over to some blogs yourself

Hugs Gunda
I mostly like it when they are full of variety. I even enjoy some personal mixed in.
But, my main thing…I like them short and sweet. If they are long and wordy I tend to just skip right past them. I have added yours to my reader.
What a nice gift, thank you for the opportunity.
Love those fabrics! I like reading about original ideas that people have, and seeing them finished. Or taking something that’s been done to death and putting a new twist on it.
MGM

I love different things about different blogs, some it’s the stories and some the tutorials, others new ideas about everything crafty under the sun! I do steer clear of overly political or super weird blogs though Having fun hopping through various parts of peoples blogs including yours, wil be back. Thanks for a chance at your giveaway!!!!!!!
I really love seeing what quilters have made and how they put different fabrics into different patterns – they offer such great inspiration. Tutorials are always good, as we help each other learn from each others experiences. Thanks for the giveaway, I love the look of the sweet prints.
