Okay, maybe two things. I trimmed the ceanothus (California wild lilac) out in front of my son’s window so that the house doesn’t look overwhelmed by bushes. I hate having windows covered by bushes or trees.
I also did my One Thing for Amy’s challenge. I finished sewing the 80 blocks together for the Fat Quarterly quilt along. Here they are–although they are not yet pressed.
(And, yes, those are marker drawings from my toddler on my cutting mat. It’s just the small cutting mat that I use for smaller things, and it’s actually getting a bit worn out.)
Although I finished the One Thing Challenge this week, I’m still a week behind on the Quilt Along. I should have gotten all the blocks sewn into a quilt top this week. Maybe I’ll get a chance this week!!
Anyone else doing the quilt along? Do you have pictures in the flickr group?

My cutting mat has pen on it from my son’s toddler days. It’s cute now but wasn’t then.

I’m doing the challenge quilt too. I have my blocks done and up on the design wall but have not settled on a layout that pleases me yet. Plus I’m working on another project whenever I have the time, which hasn’t been often.
Love the fabrics in your quilt blocks. That’s Spirit line, isn’t it? Very pretty.

I really love these squares, esp the one in the foreground of the image. I have some pillow ideas in the works with tiny little windows in them. So cool!

Yeah! They look great! I finished my blocks and then sewed my top together for the FQ too.
Your blocks look great! I really wanted to do that quilt along, but had too much going. I do some some jelly rolls that I’m holding onto and they may work perfectly for that design
